HOPE is a good thing :) I hope this post will reach the 2023 MS/Ph.D. applicants. It is not about me finding better candidates. It is about Indian academia (folks working on computer systems especially). This "sorry" state has been preventing us to create a critical mass who enjoy doing systems research.
